Meet Sandy

Most of us have been told, “do what you’re passionate about.” I took that to heart, and in my true, focused character, woke up one day and realized, “I want a farm.” That was my dream of luxury.
My husband and I went on a quest, as we set about to live that dream. We soon found a sweet farm in Sonoma that we just knew felt like home, and thought we’d try it as our weekend getaway. That lasted about a month; I never wanted to leave. So, after 18 years in the same charming Oakland house, I gave us six weeks to get our home on the market and plant new roots. We did…and have never looked back.
When you’re making a lifestyle transition, it’s easier when you have a Realtor by your side. In my case, I was the Realtor, and through our move, I gained the empathy and knowledge to help my clients make similar transitions. I love exploring Sonoma County with buyers, as they consider a move to wine country, farm country, or just small-town living. Understanding the nuances of these areas is equally important to my sellers, who confidently know I’ll represent the homes and neighborhoods they’ve cherished.
While my excitement and exuberance seem to rub off on people, I pepper it with realistic expectations and decades of experience.
A farmer by dream, with sheep, goats, and a small vineyard, I am also accomplished in the corporate environment of mergers and acquisitions, negotiations, and marketing. So whether I’m suited up at a conference table or casually in the pastures with my sheep, I harmonize my independent spirit, intuition and creativity with a fondness for details, analysis and planning; communication in all these realms—and especially real estate—is truly the key to a smooth transition.

Work with me, and you’ll hear me gently probe, “How would you live in this space?
IT’S MORE THAN JUST ASKING HOW MANY BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS YOU’D LIKE…
Or if you want a backyard for play or gardening, and if a garage is a must. It’s about your sense of place—your comfort, your needs, your desires. That’s the difference between finding a new house and making that new house your home. As I help unlock your vision of what your sense of place looks like, I’ll also guide you along the path to getting there. That’s my niche—working with like-minded clients who smile and say, “it’s time, and this is where I want to be…” When someone walks through the door and feels their sense of place and belonging, that property becomes unique and luxurious. Creating that sense comes from listening to my sellers, amplifying their words then using my considerable experience, resources, and worldwide connections to perfectly unite very special places with those who will in turn cherish them.
My love of adventure has led me to travel the world and learn from its many cultures. I’d often contemplate whether it was the journey or the destination that called me.
Now, I believe it’s a brilliant combination of the two; you see, at the end of each journey, I long to come home to where my passions thrive, at my sweet farm in Sonoma County. That’s just how I want you to feel, too, as you discover Sonoma County with me, or share it with the newcomers.
WHAT’S YOUR DREAM OF LUXURY? AND HOW MAY I HELP YOU GET THERE?
